Contacting Ms. Eby
Online correspondence, once registered, is the most efficient way to contact Ms. Eby for non-urgent matters, such as requesting medication refills, requesting or cancelling appointments, and asking questions. If she is in the office and not with a patient, she will answer the phone. Otherwise, please leave a message on her confidential voicemail (865-314-7002). She checks voicemail messages by the end of each business day. If she is away or unavailable for more than a short period of time, she will leave information about her absence on her office voicemail, as well as on the homepage of this website. Ms. Eby arranges clinical coverage with a colleague in the event of an extended absence. Information on how to contact the covering colleague will also be on her voicemail and website.
Please use this link to www.patientally.com to communicate online with Mrs. Eby. She does not respond to emergencies through this portal. You must register with this secure website to send messages. To ensure confidentiality, you receive all online communication responses at the patient ally portal rather than your private email address.
Emergencies
As a private solo practitioner, Ms. Eby does not have continuous “crisis management” services other than herself. If you anticipate or have a history of needing frequent crisis services, you may be better served by working with an agency that can provide more comprehensive coverage from a variety of staffed practitioners. However, she wants to be available whenever there is an urgent situation, and encourages you to contact her whenever a crisis arises. Please take the following steps to reach Ms. Eby in an emergency.
During usual business hours, first call her office (865-314-7002). If she is unavailable, leave a message, telling her you have an urgent problem. She checks voicemail by the end of each business day. If you cannot reach her and are in an emergency situation, please call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Department.
Medication Refills
If you are low on medication, you may leave a message on voicemail, or communicate online with Ms. Eby through the “Contact Me” page (only for non-emergencies).
Ms. Eby provides refills only if you have a scheduled appointment. Controlled substances are only provided during office visits. Medications are renewed during normal business hours, given there are no circumstances that complicate the process. If you find yourself without medication on a weekend or holiday, you can ask your pharmacist if they are able to provide you an emergency 3-day supply of your medication.
